2. Conch Reef  

If you want to marvel at barrel sponges, the Conch Reef is the place to go. This diving spot accommodates divers of all expertise levels – from beginners all the way to those who belong to the more advanced level. The depth of Conch reef can go as deep as 100 feet. The average depth of the slopes is 50 feet. Gorgonians and other reef species can be observed everywhere. Different species of fish are present as well.  

3. Thunderbolt 

If in case you still can’t have enough of Conch Reef’s 100 feet worth of scuba diving spree, you might like it better in Thunderbolt. Part of the Marathon Dive site, Thunderbolt boasts of taking you 120 feet below sea level. And at 85 feet, you get to observe the research vessel spanning 188 feet that sunk sometime in 1986. You can descend to the ship’s hull. But its exact location is around 110 feet deep. 

4. Marquesas Keys 

This diving spot also accommodates all types of scuba divers, novice or experts alike. It is positioned within the circle of isles in the Atlantic Ocean. And aside from the underwater world, there’s a bird sanctuary to enjoy as well. Only 5 to 30 feet deep, this diving spot is perfect for families with small kids. The sandy beaches are also there for the family’s total enjoyment and relaxation.
